The Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha Series – Raidou Kuzunoha XIV Heads to The Capital
Created as a spin-off of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner, the first Raidou Kuzunoha game debuted in Japan on PlayStation 2 in 2006. Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army was an instant classic and launched this new iconic ATLUS series to success.
Set in an alternate reality during the Taisho era, the unique setting and detective premise set it apart from both Shin Megami Tensei and Devil Summoner, paving the way for the 2008 release of Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon.
Main Character
Raidou Kuzunoha XIV (VA: Tomokazu Sugita)
The protagonist: a calm and quiet boy in his late teens.
Since taking on the name Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, he has been tasked with using his extraordinary Devil Summoner abilities to safeguard the Capital.
Outwardly, he's a student at Yumizuki High School helping out as an apprentice at Narumi Detective Agency.
He leverages his position as a detective to gather information, utilizing the powers of his devil allies to solve any case involving demons swiftly. Beneath his cloak, he carries severa l demon-slaying tools: a sword, a gun, and multiple tubes for sealing demons.
