August 4, 2025 – SEGA is thrilled to announce that Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, an enhanced version of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. that features a brand-new singleplayer mode, will arrive on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam on October 30, 2025. The release date for Nintendo Switch™ 2 will be announced at a later date.

About Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is the latest entry to the Virtual Fighter series of 3D fighting games. This new title brings the fight across platforms with crossplay support and uses rollback netcode to offer seamless online gameplay.

Closed Beta Test Announced!

The Closed Beta Test for the PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam versions of the game will take place in early September 2025. To join the PlayStation®5 or Xbox Series X|S tests, A SEGA Account is required. SEGA Account users who meet certain requirements are also eligible to receive a unique in-game title.

For the first time since Final Showdown, the enigmatic Virtua Fighter series antagonist Dural will be added to the game’s roster as a playable character*! This paid DLC will be made available when the game launches on October 30th.
