June 5, 2025 - SEGA is thrilled to announce that Puyo Puyo™ Tetris® 2S has officially launched today for Nintendo Switch™ 2. Two globally acclaimed titles, Puyo Puyo™ and Tetris®, are joining forces to deliver more puzzle madness than ever before. In addition to a new Puyo Tetris Doubles mode, the game now takes full advantage of exclusive Nintendo Switch 2 features to boost the gameplay experience.

Put yourself in the game with the Camera!

With the optional USB-C® camera for Nintendo Switch 2, players can now put themselves into the game. In this title, players can even customize their own gameplay by using captured footage as backgrounds, icons, and as part of a visual effect for Garbage Puyos to fall down.
The camera feature adds a whole new level of fun, making players’ gameplay with family and friends even more dynamic and immersive.

Use the New Joy-Con™ 2 Controller Like a Mouse!

Take advantage of the new Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 controllers, which can function like a mouse for quick movement, so you can focus on stacking your Puyos and Tetriminos! Spectators joining in on the action locally can also use their Joy-Con 2 controllers to point on the players' board to provide suggestions, show support, and join in on the mayhem! Enjoy endless fun with the New Joy-Con 2 Features!

Share Your Screen With Your Friends!

This title also supports the GameShare feature, allowing players to share the game with others and play together using just one copy of the software. Additionally, when paired with the new GameChat feature, players can enjoy exciting competitions while chatting with friends via voice or video. The feature is supported in both local and online play, enabling players to engage in battles with friends nearby or far away.

Each game features its own online ranking system. Other online modes include Boss Raid, where the same rules as Skill Battles apply. Team up with up to three players to face off against bosses!
