  • Established Nihon Goraku Bussan Co., Ltd., SEGA's predecessor
  • "SEGA 1000", Japan's first domestically produced jukebox
1964
  • Nihon Kikai Seizo Co., Ltd. merger
  • Began production of commercial arcade equipment

  • Rosen Enterprises, Ltd. merger
  • Began operation of arcade facilities
  • Company name changed to SEGA ENTERPRISES LTD.
